GhanShyam Singh Odint is a filmmaker, writer, lyricist, editor and creative entrepreneur whose work spans feature films, documentaries, music videos, branded films and podcasts.
His journey into filmmaking was unconventional. His path did not begin in a studio — responsibility came before ambition. After completing school, he spent years working to support his family before returning to the dream he had set aside. He later moved to Mumbai and trained in film direction, beginning his professional career with Balaji Telefilms and subsequently working as an Associate Director with legendary director-producer Saawan Kumar. He eventually returned to independent filmmaking, directing several award-winning short films, followed by his debut feature, Vishesh, a Rajasthani film. He later made The Desert Kick, a documentary that has received awards and international festival selections. Alongside filmmaking, he has written, directed, edited and produced music videos whose catalogue has crossed 100 million+ combined views and streams, including Khoto Sikko, Banna Jad Chaale, Jimmedari and Fakeera. He is also the founder of SinghVerse Media, a creative ecosystem spanning film, music, digital media, studio production and post-production.
